Item Description:

The Graph Club will enhance your students’ math skills! The Graph Club is published by Tom Snyder/Scholastic and is available for anyone to purchase in several different configurations.

The Graph Clubs’ friendly, hands-on environment helps young students make the transition from graphing with manipulatives to graphing in the abstract. As students create and compare up to five different graph types, they develop essential graphing and math skills.

The Graph Club 2.0 includes student assessment features:

  • Self-assessment checklist for students to evaluate their own or peer’s graphs
  • Assessment checklists for teachers to review student graphs and rate students at three levels of accomplishment
  • Assessment rubrics to help teachers define the graphing skills they want to teach and their expectations for student-created graphs
  • “Match” mode evaluates student understanding of the relationship between different representations of the same data
  • Student graphs and notebook entries can be printed for assessment

MEETS STATE AND NATIONAL STANDARDS
