Item Description:
Grammar consists of six self-paced sections designed to build an
understanding of sentence structure. Grammar is published by Optimum Resource, is part of the MiddleWare Series and is available in different configurations to fit your needs.
Beginning with the identification of subject and predicate and the introduction of proper and common nouns, Grammar progresses to verbs, tense and subject-verb agreement. The direct object begins the third section, followed by pronouns, possessive nouns, interrogative pronouns and contraction.
Sections four and five take on adjectives and articles, then prepositional phrases and the concept of a modifier. The final section presents helping verbs, linking verbs, appositives, participles, infinitives and gerunds.
Teachers may select a starting level and the number of tries allowed.
School Versions and above include freely reproducible lesson plans and manipulative masters.
What is Win/Mac Direct Drive?
In response to the request of many educators, Optimum Resource has designed their programs to install and work efficiently under both Windows XP and Windows Vista or Macintosh OS X Native or any combination. For example, a six seat Lab Pack could be installed on four Windows and two Macintosh computers from the same serial number. Progress reports are generated and new questions, answers and activities can be entered.
